AHMET FERRUH BOZBEYLİ
1927-2019
Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi Eski Başkanlarımızdan Ahmet Ferruh BOZBEYLİ 1927 yılında Kahramanmaraş-Pazarcık’ta doğdu. Babası Sıddık Bey, annesi Firdevs Hanım’dır. İlk, orta ve lise öğrenimini Gaziantep ve Hatay’da tamamladı. 1957 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesinden mezun oldu. Serbest avukat olarak çalıştı. 15 Ekim 1961 tarihinde yapılan XII. Dönem Milletvekili Genel Seçimlerine katıldı ve Adalet Partisinden (AP) İstanbul milletvekili seçildi. XII. Dönem’de Millet Meclisi başkan vekilliği, Başkanlık Divanı kâtip üyeliği görevlerinde bulundu. XIII ve XIV. dönemlerde İstanbul ilinden yeniden milletvekili seçildi. XIII ve XIV. dönemlerde de Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi başkanı olarak görev yaptı.Aynı zamanda yazar olan ve “Türkiye’de Siyasal Partilerin Ekonomik ve Sosyal Görüşleri”, “Demokratik Sağ”, “Birinci Cemre”, “Politika Sanatı”, “Yalnız Demokrat” isimli kitapları olan BOZBEYLİ, 28 Temmuz 2019’da vefat etmiştir.
Ahmet Ferruh BOZBEYLİ, one of the former Presidents of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, was born to parents Sıddık Bey and Firdevs Hanım, in 1927, in Pazarcık, Kahramanmaraş. He completed the first years of his education in Gaziantep and Hatay. Graduating from the İstanbul University Faculty of Law in 1957, he worked as a self-employed lawyer.
Nominated by the Justice Party [AP] for the XIIth Term Parliamentary General Elections held on October 15, 1961, he was elected Member of Parliament from İstanbul, and served as the Deputy Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and as a member of the Council of Clerks for the President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. BOZBEYLİ was re-elected as a deputy from İstanbul, in the XIIIth and XIVth terms, during which he served as the president of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
BOZBEYLİ, being also a writer, wrote books titled “Economic and Social Views of the Political Parties in Türkiye,” “Democratic Right,” “First Cemre,” “The Art of Politics,” and “Lonely Democrat.” BOZBEYLİ passed away on July 28, 2019.
